Find Rest

Don’t know about you but I’m tired! Also very glad it is Friday.
As I sit down to write this I can’t help but ponder on what God has been showing me lately. I have been walking with Him for many years. Yet... somehow ... it’s almost like I never knew Him. The pictures He has imprinted on my heart here lately have left me with a sense of awe and wonder at His love for me.

God the Almighty - the Creator - the Holy and Sovereign Lord - the Great I am - this same God who is the Alpha and Omega lovingly and compassionately reaches down and meets me - meets you - right where we are. This same God - who is beyond my ability to understand or comprehend - calls me to come and find rest in His arms ~ allows me to call Him Daddy.

What do you need tonight? Are you tired?
“Come all you who are weary and I will give you rest”

Are you afraid?
“The God who watches over you will never slumber nor sleep”

If you learn nothing else remember that the God of the universe wants to be the Lord and Father of your heart. 
Can you see Him over there? He is sitting in that big overstuffed chair ~ 
He is waiting for you. 
Waiting patiently. 
He won’t demand nor will He push.
He will wait.
Go ahead~
It will be worth it!
